A sleek, minimalistic visual identity for a drone videography company.
INTRODUCTION
ALATE Productions flies, films, and produces. Starting as a drone videography company in Switzerland, ALATE has established itself internationally. With innovative drone footage, ALATE supports businesses and projects worldwide, presenting them from a new perspective—true to the motto: “Elevate your business.”
ALATE operates on a higher level, and this should be reflected in its visual identity. In our collaboratively developed mission statement, we defined that the brand should appear modern, timeless, and elegant through the use of a sans-serif typeface. The logo needed to be subtle yet technically appealing, creatively capturing the theme of drone footage while also leaving room for expansion into areas such as photography.
RESULT
A drone represents technology, mechanics, and lightness—exactly what the logo was meant to convey. As a result, the "A" was reduced to its most basic elements: two essential lines. Bold in its simplicity, it captured the desired minimalism while reflecting the precision of the brand. A minimalistic solution with a strong visual punch.
The logo is complemented by a powerful color scheme consisting of dark anthracite, off-white, and an accent of orange. Alongside drone photos, images are used to highlight the motion blur of a flying drone and the texture of a metallic surface. The overall appearance is completed with a clear, sans-serif typeface.
